native of Lethbridge, Alberta, Dr. Erinn Evdokimoff
Roberts joined the faculty at UCA in 2009.
Mezzo soprano, Dr. Evdokimoff Roberts holds a Doctorate
of Music in Voice/Opera performance from the University
of British-Columbia, a Master of Music in Operatic performance
from the same institution and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal
performance from the University of Lethbridge.
Operatic
appearances include performances with the Vancouver Opera
Association, Pacific Opera Victoria and the University of
British-Columbia Opera Ensemble, which toured extensively
in B.C and Europe. Leading operatic roles include Tessa
in The Gondoliers (Gilbert & Sullivan), Dorabella in
Cosi Fan Tutte (Mozart), Rosette in Manon (Massenet), Isabella
in L'Italiana in Algieri (Rossini), Gianetta in L'Elisir
d'Amore (Donizetti), Miss Todd in The Old Maid and the Thief
(Menotti), and Hansel in Hansel & Gretel (Humperdinck).
Leading performances in oratorio include Cantata #12 (Bach),
Lord Nelson Mass (Haydn), Gloria (Vivaldi), Stabat Mater
(Pergolesi), and Handel’s Messiah and Dettingen Te
Deum. In 2006, she was selected to fill the mezzo-soprano
position in the Burton and Olive Kurth Pacific Opera Victoria
Young Artist Program after a nation-wide audition. She has
also appeared in numerous music theatre productions throughout
Western Canada.
Dr.Evdokimoff
Roberts has held teaching positions on faculty at the University
of Lethbridge, the Victoria Conservatory of Music and the
British Columbia Conservatory. She is an active recitalist,
clinician and adjudicator as well as an accomplished pianist.
