John Palmer serves on the composition, trombone and tuba faculty of UCA. A graduate of the music program of Queen's University, Mr. Palmer performs with the Kingston Symphony, the Symphony Brass Quintet and BrassWerks.

An award-winning composer, Mr. Palmer will expertise in composition and arranging. He was recently commissioned to write a fanfare for the 40th anniversary of The National Music Camp of Canada where he teaches trombone each summer. For each of the past three years he has won the Humboldt State University (California) Brass Workshop Composition Competition.
